Proliferation of weapons

Around the world there are people who have different goals that other people, so as a consequence will be have agree or disagree sides, as a result some people don’t want to make a deal , so they take the war way in order to be better than others.
Many countries are part of a group of nations which use or create weapons just in case to defended their places, but those weapons can be destroy the world three times , because are nuclear weapons. In contrast there are weapons which we don’t see , because are molecular things that can be kill many people around the world.

The speech was about supply chain, a concept of Industrial Engineering, I think that was very simple, because the moderator used terms very basics about this interesting topic. But it wasn’t his intention because in the activity there were people of different careers. With the time all was excellent, because the speech began just time, in ended one hour after.
The main idea was to understand what is Supply Chain apply to Intel, so I think that many people got the information, but the Pearson that gave us the presentation was an especial of one are of the big process that is the Supply Chain in Intel. But there was a mistake with the space in the class, because it was a little place, and many people were to the activity, so some people used the floor like chairs.
Finally, in general, the speech was kind of, about I thought, so I hope that if I will go to other speech about this topic, the idea will be more specialized.

National Terrorism

Definition : Nationalism involves a strong identification of a group of individuals with a political entity defined in national terms, i.e. a nation. Movie

As a reference to the movie, long time ago the life has few value, because there was not laws and life rights which must to protect the people who live in that time. People who just work without any help, because the bosses want to get money, so they didn’t thing about the job environment, this drive that the citizen hurt every day, and then, if they didn’t work good, they would be die.
The film begins in 1939 with a war , Polonium and Alemania , a man called Schindler, Schindler acquires a factory for the production of army mess kits. Not knowing much about how to properly run such an enterprise, he gains a close collaborator in Itzhak Stern, an official of Krakow's Judenrat who has contacts with the Jewish business community and the black marketers inside the Ghetto.
The process of work in that time was , first , the boss get groups of person , but those citizen should be poverty people , so that was easy to get , second , they created 3 groups ; kids , women and men. Then they was chosen by the boss , if someone didn’t do the work , the superior took a gun and then kill them. Finally , just they can saw how a partner died like an animal , and clean the blood of their legs.
Is too terrible , how one person killed his employees like simple things , just because he felt tired , bad or unhappy. As a consequence of war , a lot of innocent people died , didn’t matter the age , the gender , the status or the feel main, if you didn’t to the side , you will be die however. The cities empty after to the fight in silent, may be few groups can leave a live.

The process of peace is the solution for war , because if have tolerance , must be have more peace , where the people can live without fights. Actually as a many laws and humans rights this accidents have less power each day, because some people work for these goals. Even thought the war is less, there are people waiting for this.

Finally , the change is in all of you , with the simple action to tolerate , and to make a good environment around you , step by step , the peace evolved all planet.

Global Warming around the world

Each day the planet increase it temperature that affect the environment directly, people don’t considered the importance of live thinking in the world, even long time ago the generations didn’t do the correct. The planet has a life time, so some day will come it final. In this time our world is showing us the consequence of the change that people did here.
The global warming affects all animals, herbages and people that live around the world. Animals like polar bears don’t have a place where live, because the ice of those places are melting, and a consequence of the ice melting , the water level is increasing out of our limits, then the earth is affect directly , so people should to move out because the water flood the land.
Scientific says that if we will living like today, may be just have few years here, because the worming changes all things that are part of the world. World leaders have been gathering them, in order to get solutions in different countries, because the entire world is hurting for the global warming. As a result of many gathers, some people are trying to recuperate the lost things, but are impossible, so we must to change our practices in order to get a clear place.
As a conclusion, people should to change the way of live, and to think in the next generation that will be living in the same world that we have. Also eliminating the use of some things that affect the atmosphere, to clean the environment and to evaluate the unique world that we have. The most important thing that can be a better solution of the global warming is the education of this important topic, to all citizens in each city around the world.

Ethnic conflicts

Around the word many people has been creating ethnic differences between themselves, this is why we say that this is a common topic that can be seen in today’s society.
How discrimination, religion and prejudice can create ethnic conflicts. Base on differences like social status, economical status, and ethnic conflicts. Sometimes the social status gets affected because people believe that if someone has more money that person becomes superior to the other one. On the other hand there are other people that see differences between them just because they have a different accent, physical expressions, style of living, etc. In reference to the movie Crash (2010), that shows us how we can commonly find discrimination in the word. There was a scene where a Mexican guy worked as a locksmith and he was prejudging as a gang member or a thief. Buy a negligent women who had a high social status and this was because someone came to steal her house.
The movie shows us how is the real life in USA, a nation that was created mostly by immigrants. People usually tend to judge before knowing the other person. I remember a scene in the movie were they show that the accumulation of stress can guide us to become a violent person. Basically the scene show us were a police guy was trying to help a guy who abused of his authority previously in the movie.
Moreover, people create which the limits of the territories mark the diference of razes, because if you are from Nicaragua and me from Costa Rica, in this case there is a diference , even more. Jus because community think that Nicaraguans are citizens who steals , who don’t know like us, but theses things are visualizations from a group of Ticos who received a bad action, so then , they discriminated to Nicaraguans , and other persons generalize , constantly. Although there are bad Nicaraguans, like there are Bad Ticos , bad gringos; there are good people in wherever place, so the way to generalize is wrong. We should to see the people not like group fate like a person , and try to know them, and finally create an image.

A way to reduce incident of ethnic conflicts is asking ourselves “What if?” asking ourselves that question will make it more easy to understand someone else point of view or state of mind. As it was explained in the previous ideas ethnic conflicts are very common; do to that misunderstanding whenever you ask your selves what if the other guy is from another religion? What if he has another point of view? Prejudice takes another role in ethnic conflicts; most of us tend to judge base on person lucks, style of living, etc. We need to have an open mind mentality and be able to understand and accept people ethnic differences.

Globalization of Infection Diseases

Globalization is a series of complex process which includes the exchange of cultures. Globalization is causing the destruction of people cultures; this is because we have a consumer mentality, everyone wants to get more and more material stuff. We always are thinking to get the latest devices like cellphones, LCD TV, computers, video games, etc.; instead of thinking how help others that need food, water, and clothes. As a result of the globalization, each country has part of other nations. As a consequence of this exchange of culture, also there are things which don’t want to be transmitted outside, like infection diseases (ID) that can be easily spread around the world. whenever a person travels to another country , it is possible that he or she are infected with a command disease that can affect a huge population, but they don’t know; so, when they have a direct contact with other persons, and in this moment is potential some possibility to transmit an infectious disease. The exchange among cultures spread infections easily and fast; for example, AIDS, cholera, diarrhea, yellow fever etc.
The exchange of cultures is a big way to meet people, but is a big way to come down with infectious diseases, why? Because citizens in the moment when they interact between them, is very probably who they have diseases, in cases like unprotected sexual intercourse. The most dangerous infectious diseases about unprotected sexual intercourse is the HIV/AIDS, (this condition progressively reduces the effectiveness of the immune system and leaves individuals susceptible to opportunistic infections and tumors. HIV is transmitted through direct contact with a bodily fluid, such as blood, semen, vaginal fluid, preseminal fluid and breast milk, as a consequence of this practice without protection. On the other hand there is prostitution, that create an opportunity to get different kinds of diseases, because they are unprotected to the society, by the way, they get different costumers who can be transmitted to HIV. Also do to poverty, prostitution is very common in different countries, because is one of the few jobs that people can be do, even thought this is a dangerous employment.
Historically infectious diseases have been the most important contributor to human mortality. The term infectious diseases does not refer to any kind of illness; just imagine that in high income countries dead from infectious diseases (ID) can be commonly caused by diarrhea, HIV/AIDS, etc. Meanwhile other countries in Africa (third world countries) there is more mortality do to ID; is commonly caused by hunger, consuming contaminated food, even polluted water, germs etc. The process of globalization potentially influences a broad range of biological, environmental factors. An infection occurs when a microorganism survives and multiplies whiten another usually larger organism. The infected organism (human being) usually called the host.

Domestic violence in Costa Rica

Domestic violence is very common , although is very bad is when in a family there are different kinds of violence, such as , verbal fights or physical fights , and someone is hurt. In different moments when parents scream to their kids or even just for a simple thing, like dissagrements. This kind of violence affects the feeling that families have and in a consequence of this problem, the Person who does it, hits other members of his/her family.
Domestic Violence affects principally to many women, because women’s right are less respected. For example…Always have less rights for example, two 30-year-old women from Mexico City recently suffered the consequences of intimate partner abuse, according to Communication and Information de la Mujer, Asociación Civil (CIMAC) and La Jornada. Around the world this violence affects many families, places where de man has more importance than the women for traditions and there are not laws that protect them.
In Costa Rica there are laws that protect all women in cases of violence (physical and emotional), in order to try to decrease the statistics of type of aggression. According to a population reference, Costa Rica has also formed a National Plan to Treat and Prevent Intra-Familiar Violence coordinated by the National Center for the Development of Women and the Family. It aims to provide an integrated system of services and actions to prevent domestic violence. This is an important step that Costa Rica has taken, because just few countries did create laws for the women.
On the other hand, domestic violence has led to bad for example Domestic Sexual Violence, like rapes that happen inside homes houses, between family members, where the victims are in silent because they have are afraid. Many cases but a few complaints are made, just for the principal thing that make the violence “fear” to show, to demonstrate the hurt.
As a conclusion, people need to learn about how to fight intelligently with the Domestic Violence, and to know that the silence increases this problem. Also to not be an insecure person, so it is important to take decisions and to find help of different ways that actually the society offers. And practice the most important value that a family should to have “communication”, so this will make a secure family .
